Lurka was an Orc overseer who served under the command of Adar in the Second Age.
Biography[]
He participated in the razing of multiple Southland settlements and the imprisonment of those inhabitants as Adar directed a search for a secret object, using these prisoners as a workforce at the trenches. After Arondir and several other Silvan Elves were captured and forced to dig with the other prisoners, Lurka helped to quell an attempted breakout, in which Revion and Médhor were killed.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Lurka was created for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and as such is non-canonical. He is portrayed by Robert Strange.[2]
