Long Cleeve was a town or village probably in the Northfarthing of the Shire.[1]
It was estimated to be located south of the North Moors and about thirty miles north of Needlehole.[2]
History
Long Cleeve was the home of the North-tooks. Bandobras Took and his many descendants originated from. Diamond Took lived there before marrying Peregrin Took after the War of the Ring.[3]
