London is the capital city of the United Kingdom.
It is where The Lord of the Rings film trilogy scores were composed by Howard Shore and recorded by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. It was also was where one of the iterations of The Lord of the Rings Motion Picture Trilogy: The Exhibition took place. The world premiere of the first version of stage musical adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings opened in London in the spring of 2005, and was shown in London and Toronto only.
