Little Princess Mee is a poem by J.R.R. Tolkien, written in 1915.
A fairy tale of hobbit folklore recorded in the fields of the Red Book of Westmarch, it tells of a beautiful princess who, every night, dropping a hood covering her beauty, went to dance on the lake. And there, in the mirror surface, sock to sock, Princess Shee (her reflection) danced with her.
