Lily Cotton was a hobbit of the Shire.
Biography[]
Born Lily Brown of the Brown family, she entered the Cotton family when she married Tom Cotton, with whom she resided in Bywater. She was the mother of Rose, Wilcome (Jolly), Bowman, Carl (Nibs) and Tolman (Tom).[1]

Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game
In Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game (2025), Lily runs the Green Dragon Inn while her husband manages Cotton Farm. Her daughter Rosie and son Tom Jr, are in the game as well and can befriend the player. In game dialogue reveals that the Cottons also took in Fosco and Nora Burrows as kids and raised them.
Etymology[]
As with many female hobbits, her name was that of a flower.
