Letter 92 is the ninty-second letter written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Summary[]

Tolkien mourned his child's stay in the Royal Air Force, which he considered an advanced Moloch (in this sense, a foundation requesting expensive penances). He then said that his wishes were futile, despite everything he dreaded the "war-air ship".

He then talked about the composition arrangements of C.S. Lewis and himself. They were both written work at the time, and considered composition a book together.
