"Lament for Haldir" is the minute-long section of the soundtrack of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) during which Haldir is slain by Uruk-hai in the Battle of the Hornburg. The solo lyrics, in the Quenya tongue, were sung by Elizabeth Fraser, whose voice is also in the Lament for Gandalf.

In the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of the film, it commences the track "Isengard Unleashed".

Lyrics[]

Ar sindarnóriello caita mornië,
Ar ilyë tier unduláve lumbulë...

English translation[]

Out of a grey country darkness lies
And all paths are drowned deep in shadow...

These lyrics originate from the second half of "Namárië", which is Galadriel's Lament.
