Example of Lore templates[]
There are currently three different Lore templates:
- General
- For your over-all knowledge of Tolkien's works and adaptations of them.
Lore 4 | This user has an encyclopedic understanding of J.R.R. Tolkien's works. |
- Book
- For your knowledge of Tolkien's books
Book 3 | This user has an advanced understanding of J.R.R. Tolkien's books. |
- Films
- For your knowledge of Tolkien-based films
Film 1 | This user has a basic understanding of the films based on J.R.R. Tolkien's works. |
Lore level[]
The levels of lore follow:
- 0 - No knowledge
- Knows nothing about it whatsoever
- 1 - Basic knowledge
- Seen the films a few times
- 2 - Intermediate knowledge
- Read the books or seen the films several times
- 3 - Advanced knowledge
- Read the books or seen the movies many times
- 4 - Encyclopedic knowledge
- Has the books and/or films memorized by heart
Adding Lore template to your user page[]
To add one of these to your userpage you can simply use one or more of these:
- {{User lore-X}}
- {{User book lore-X}}
- {{User film lore-X}}
where X is the level you consider yourself to be at.
Alternately, you can use {{User lore}}.
{{User lore
|general=3
|book=4
|film=1
}}
With {{User lore}} you only need to call one template. You set general, book, and film to be what you feel your level of knowledge is in each area. If you don't want one or more of these items on your page you can leave it blank.
