Kristine Larsen is an American astronomer who has written often concerning on cosmological matters of J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium. She teaches physics and astronomy at Central Connecticut State University in Connecticut, USA.
She has written numerous articles for the Tolkien Society's journals Amon Hen and Mallorn, and has presented Tolkien papers at many Tolkien-related and othr conferences, sometimes with the role of moderator or presider.
