Angry scenes
Temper
John had to use and release a lot of temper in his scenes. Especially when he had to pretend to be angry at David Wenham (Faramir). The more people that say his character is stupid or evil, the better he's done his job in The Return of the King. But, he was really happy in all the scenes done with Billy Boyd (Pippin) because he didn't have to shout or show a temper.
Personal life
John is married. His wife's name is Penny, they have three children: Samantha, Jessica and Daniel. Samantha (Sam) (b. 1984) is an actress, something of which John mentions quite often in interviews- he is apparently very proud.
John currently resides in Australia.
