John M. Carswell is the co-host of The Tolkien Road podcast who in 2014 founded TrueMyths.org, a website where J.R.R. Tolkien's books are studied in close, semi-scholarly detail. Also in 2014, he authored Tolkien's Requiem: Concerning Beren and Lúthien.
