Isumbras I Took was a Hobbit of the Shire and the thirteenth Shire-thain, the first of the Took line.[1]
Biography[]
Isumbras Took was born sometime before TA 2340 (SR 740).[1] He succeeded Gorhendad Brandybuck as Shire-thain. He was succeeded by an unknown Took. It was unknown whether had married and had children. Afterwards, the Thainship was held by the Tooks of the Great Smials.
