Isumbras III Took was a Hobbit of the Shire and the twenty-third Shire-thain.
Biography[]
Isumbras III was born in TA 2666 (SR 1066). He became Shire-thain after the death of his father Isengrim II Took in TA 2722 (SR 1122). He was married to an unnamed wife having two children: Ferumbras II Took, a future Shire-thain and the famous Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took, the hero of the Battle of the Green Fields.[1]
