Hiril was was an Edain woman of the House of Haleth during the First Age.
Hiril was the daughter of Halmir and wife of Enthor, to whom she bore a daughter, Meleth.[1]
Etymology[]
Hiril is a Sindarin name meaning "lady". It contains an abbreviation of the suffix -iel ("daughter; feminine suffix")[2] appended to hîr ("lord, master").[3][4]
