A Hill-troll in the film Born of Hope
"Hill-trolls" (a designation not from canon) were a species of troll closely related to mountain-trolls and cave-trolls, who appeared in The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king, as part of the Angmar faction. Arador, the fourteenth chieftain of the Dúnedain, was slain by one of these trolls.
An identical species of troll appears in the fan-production Born of Hope.
