This article is about the Númenórean. For the Man of Gondor, see Herumor (Fourth Age).

Herumor was a Black Númenórean lord.

Like all Black Númenóreans, Herumor fell under the influence of the Dark Lord Sauron during the late Second Age while he was on the island of Númenór. He sailed east with Fuinur and with him settled with Haradrim in the lands of Harad, and the two became lords among the Haradrim.[1]

His ultimate fate is unknown.

Herumor means "Lord of the dark" in Sindarin, from heru ("lord") and mor ("dark").[2]
