Herblore of the Shire was a book written by Meriadoc Brandybuck sometime during his tenure as Master of Buckland.

It chronicled several of the more prominent horticultural aspects of the Shire, namely what was known about the origin and cultivation of Pipe-weed as well as other herbs that were smoked habitually by hobbits[1]. Its writing and publishing was one of Meriadoc's claims to fame for years after his death.[2]
