Haldan is a Woodmen Hero created by Fantasy Flight Games for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game.
Biography[]
Haldan is encountered in The Wilds of Rhovanion Expansion. He is a playable ally-objective in the the expansion. Players can get him as a playable hero in the Roam Across Rhovanion adventure pack.
Haldan's armor is only that of a heavy fur coat which is moderately worn due to the lifestyle of the Woodmen. Also depending on the weather he may go shirtless when doing manual labor. his only weapon shown is a big woodcutter's ax which makes him very powerful for attacking enemies and also chopping down trees. He also seems to enjoy a good pipe-smoke.
Card usage[]
In the card game, Haldan is largely associated with attacking and questing. His best use is with decks that have attachment which can be played on locations. Haldan's willpower of 2 is good for him to be used for questing regularly, especially if you have a attachment of the active location. His attack value of 3 is strong enough for him to be used as an attacker regularly, however, some enemies will take a couple turns to die if Haldan is attacking alone. Haldan's defense of 1 is makes him pretty weak to use of him as a defender and his health of 4 does not last very long against enemies with attack power 3 or more.
