Haldan was a Chieftain of the Haladin and Halbar of the Men of Brethil.
History[]
Haldan was the son of Haldar, brother of Haleth. His father was killed during a battle with the Orcs next to his father Haldad. Thus, when Haleth died withouth heir, Haldan became her successor as the Halbar of the Haladin. He had a son, named Halmir, who became the Halbar after his father died.[1]
Other versions[]
In early versions of the legendarium Haldan's name was Hardan.[2]
