Hagen was a man of the Southlands in the Second Age, who to avoid death, swore to serve Adar along with many of his countrymen. Betrothed to the woman Estrid, he and the other men loyal to Adar followed those who escaped to Pelargir. Despite being briefly imprisoned by two Ents for their felling of trees, he was released and reunited with Estrid after Isildur and Arondir's intervention.
Behind the scenes[]
Hagen's character is non-canonical, as it was invented for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and first appears in Season Two. He is portrayed by Gabriel Akuwudike.
