Guma was a young farmer who lived in Rohan during the War of the Ring.
He is non-canonical, as he only appears in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. His name was revealed in The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game.
Biography[]
After King Théoden was released from Saruman's control with the help of Gandalf the White, Guma left Edoras with all the civilians and traveled to Helm's Deep. When Saruman sent an army of 10,000 Uruk-hai to destroy the people of Rohan, Guma, along with a number of farmers, had to fight and defend the fortress at all cost.
Etymology[]
Guma is Old English for "the young man".
