Guilin was a noble Elf of Nargothrond and the father of Gelmir and Gwindor.
Biography[]
Though little is known about him, Guilin was the father of Gelmir and Gwindor, both of whom played major roles in the First Age. Gelmir's death initiated the Nírnaeth Arnoediad,[1] which resulted in the captivity and enslavement of Gwindor in Angband.[2]
