Greg and Tim Hildebrandt: The Tolkien Years is a book compiling all Middle-earth illustrations by The Brothers Hildebrandt, after three decades of their art's prominence. Written mainly by Greg Hildebrandt, it gives formerly untold stories behind their illustrations, in addition to some art pieces that had not yet been in print. It was published, by Dynamite Entertainment, first in 2001 and then in an expanded edition in 2012.
