The Goodbodies were a family of Hobbits who lived in the Shire and were very large and well-known.
History[]
The Goodbody family was a prominent and important Hobbit family residing in the Shire. They were related to the Baggins through Bilbo Baggins' aunt Lily Baggins who married Togo Goodbody.[1] They were also connected to the Bolger family, when Cora Goodbody married Rudolph Bolger.[2] As relatives to Bilbo Baggins, they were all invited to his farewell party, which ultimately they accepted and attended.[3]
