Glóin (TA 2136 - TA 2385) was a king of Durin's Folk after his father Thorin I died in TA 2289. He along with his father left Erebor for Ered Mithrin in TA 2210, which became the kingdom of the dwarves for many years afterward. Glóin was succeeded after his death by his son Óin. He was yet another dwarven ancestor of Balin, friend to Bilbo Baggins and Gimli of the Fellowship.
