Gálmód was a Man of Rohan and the father of Gríma Wormtongue, who was the chief adviser to King Théoden during the War of the Ring.

Because nothing is known of Gálmód, it is not clear whether he had held a high position in Rohan, nor was it known whether he was deceased by the time his son advised the king.[1][2]
