Lord Frygt was a man who ruled as Lord of the Westfold in the Third Age. At some point, he encountered the Rohirrim under Helm Hammerhand.
Biography[]
Frygt was a Rohanese lord during Helm Hammerhand's rule. He was a loyal servant of King Helm and royal advisor. He was present at court when Freca attempted to marry his son Wulf to Helm's daughter. During the subsequent War between Rohan and Dunland Frygt fought alongside Helm at the Battle of Edoras and survived to retreat to the Hornburg. During the siege he quarrels over tactics with another noble but Helm's daughter reassures them both to endure the siege.
Behind the scenes[]
Lord Frygt is voiced by actor Alex Jordan in The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim. The character's name was first announced by Jordan in a Twitter post on June 15, 2022[1], was created for the film, and therefore non-canonical.
