From Book to Script - Finding the Story

From Book to Script - Finding the Story is a 19-minute documentary discussing the how the plot lines of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Two Towers were fit and adjusted into the scheme of the film trilogy. It is found in disc three ("The Journey Continues") of the Extended Edition of The Two Towers film, and is followed by Designing and Building Middle-earth.

Peter Jackson and Philippa Boyens explain why characters' lines from the books were swapped, why the character of Faramir was considerably changed, why the encounters with Shelob were relocated to The Return of the King, and other decisions.
