Fredegar Chubb is a Hobbit of the Shire in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film trilogy.
Biography[]
In TA 2941, when Bilbo Baggins visited the Green Dragon Inn market shortly after meeting Gandalf, he went to Fredegar's cart and bought a fish while he was on the lookout for the wizard.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Fredegar was portrayed by Eric Vespe in the first part of The Hobbit film trilogy. His scenes were cut from the theatrical version of the movie, but are included in the extended edition.
