François Busnel (born May 1969) is a French TV personality, journalist, and documentarian who produces and hosts the show La Grande Librarie on France 5, and was editor of a few literary periodicals between 2004 and 2015.
Having been very fascinated by J.R.R. Tolkien's works since elementary school, and at the turn of the century aspiring to study Tolkien's achievements closely,[1] Busnel produced the documentary JRR Tolkien, le seigneur des écrivains ("J.R.R. Tolkien, the Lord of the Writers") which aired on his show in December 2014. It features appearances by George R.R. Martin and Vincent Ferré.
