Unferth was one of Gríma Wormtongue's bodyguards at Edoras during the War of the Ring, expecting a rich reward once Rohan fell to Sauron and Saruman.
He is not mentioned in the books, and is named solely for The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game.[1]
