This article is about the field itself. For the chapter, see The Field of Cormallen.

The Field of Cormallen was a field in Ithilien near to Henneth Annûn on the east bank of the Anduin, by the isle of Cair Andros. It was here that Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee were healed and revived after being rescued by the Great Eagles from Mount Doom, and were recognized for their heroism in front of the men of Gondor and Rohan.[1]
