Fanuidhol was a mountain in the Misty Mountains.

Fanuidhol along with the two other peaks Caradhras and Celebdil) were the ceiling of the ancient Dwarven city of Khazad-dûm.[1]


Fanuidhol is a Sindarin word with "Fanui-" meaning [Cloudy], and "-dhol' meaning [helm]. Its name in Khuzdul was Bundushathûr or Cloudyhead.[citation needed]
