Fantasy Flight Games, FFG for short, is an American tabletop game company, one of the publishers of The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth[1] (2019) and the producers of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game[2], first released in 2011 and remade in 2019. The company is also responsible for creating The Lord of the Rings board game[3] and Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation.[4]
It's a subdivision of Asmodee (since 2014)[5] and the Embracer Group.[6]
Fantasy Flight Games is also responsible for Arkham Horror: The Card Game, [[wikipedia:Marvel_Champions:_The_Card_Game|Marvel Champions: The Card Game], and the second edition of the Game of Thrones card game. Previously, they had created and printed Star Wars: The Card Game for six years until 2018.
The company is based in Minnesota, U.S.A., and was acquired by the French tabletop game publisher Asmodée.
