The One Wiki to Rule Them All

The Fairbairns, known also as the Fairbairns of the Towers, were a family of hobbits and the descendants of Samwise Gamgee through his eldest daughter Elanor and her husband Fastred of Greenholm. Elfstan and Fíriel were the children of Elanor and Fastred, and resided at Under-towers on the Tower Hills, as did their descendants.[1][2]

The Fairbairns were the keepers of the Red Book of Westmarch, which was begun by Bilbo Baggins and Frodo Baggins.
