Drû-buri-Drû - LOTR The Card Game

Biography[]

Drû-buri-Drû is a Wose warrior under the leadership of Ghân-buri-Ghân, who commands a hunting party of Drúedain warriors.

After the player's heroes discovery of the traitorous plot to overthrow Gondor, the remaining traitors flee to the the Drúadan Forest. The heroes pursue the traitors in hopes of finding and capturing their leader. As the heroes move deeper into the forest they come across the campsite of the traitors, however, only to find that all of the traitors have been slain by poison arrows. As the heroes search the corpses for the leader's body they are stopped by the sounds of drums in the distance. The heroes desperately try to escape the forest in order to avoid conflict, but are stopped by a band of Wose who begin to attack. The heroes only hope was to show the Wose that they where not their enemy. The heroes fend off the attacks and prove to the Wose they meant no harm by not striking any Wose. Drû-buri-Drû hands met with the that of one of the heroes in an act of friendship. Drû-buri-Drû is grieved at the lost of life, but is thankful to know that not all "tall-men" are bad. Drû-buri-Drû allows the heroes to leave and will tell Ghân-buri-Ghân about the kindness of the heroes. Not much else is know about Drû-buri-Drû as he and his warriors fade into the forest.

Drû-buri-Drû has very little for armor, except for clothes made of fur, tree bark, and grasses. His weapon is a bow that shoots poison arrows; capable of killing even armored foes.

Strategy[]

Drû-buri-Drû biggest threat to the players is his special ability which allows him to attack only heroes (ignoring allies). If he is defeated early on, the players can benefit from a willpower and defense bonus. The best way to defend against him is to either use heroes with 4 or more defense to defend; healing cards will help increase survivability. To defeat him, it is best to use either many 2-3 attack strength characters or with a few high attack characters.
