Dean Wright is a VFX executive, VFX producer, and animator known for serving as VFX Producer on The Two Towers (2002) and The Return of the King (2003) directed by Peter Jackson. He was additionally Second Unit Director for The Return of the King. As with Paul Lasaine and Jeremy Bennett, Wright's VFX duties were outside those of the Weta Digital team.
He has worked on numerous major productions since the 2000s, such as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Spectre (2015), Creed (2015), Tomb Raider (2018), Candyman (2021), No Time to Die (2021), Thirteen Lives (2022) which starred Viggo Mortensen, and five seasons of both Vikings and Fargo.
