David Wenham is an Australian actor who played the role of Faramir in Peter Jackson's The Two Towers and The Return of the King. David is one of the actors who voiced their character in the Return of the King video game. In an interview he said that he enjoyed the game.
David Wenham says he enjoyed doing the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He auditioned for the part because Faramir is the Captain of Gondor, a great swordsman, archer, and thinker.

Furthermore, he has been quoted saying that he liked the armor he got to wear as the Captain of Gondor.
