Daisy Gardner, born in SR 1433, was the eighth child and fourth daughter of Samwise Gamgee and his wife Rosie (née Cotton) Gamgee.^[1]

Daisy had five younger siblings: Primrose, Bilbo, Rudy, Robin, and Tolman. Her namesake was apparently her paternal aunt, Daisy Gamgee.

She was the first daughter of Sam's not to be foreseen by Frodo Baggins.
