Concerning Hobbits is the second track of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, composed by Howard Shore. It contains the musical leitmotif corresponding to the Hobbits, and its main tune is considered the "Hobbit theme". The tune was later reused for the song, "In Dreams", which appeared in the movie. The song was written by Howard Shore with lyrics by Fran Walsh.
Usage
It is the background music of most Shire-scenes in the entire trilogy. This soundtrack was also reused in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
