Clifford Broadway (born January 27, 1969), called Cliff for short and known by nickname "Quickbeam", is a Senior Staff writer at TheOneRing.net, frequent host of their weekly webcast TORn Tuesdays, and voice-actor. He was a consultant in the production of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.[1]
Cliff was born in Melbourne, Florida, and helped found TheOneRing.net in 1999. In 2003, he helped write their first published book, The People's Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien, as well as its follow-up More People's Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien in 2004. A year later he was a writer, producer, and interviewer for Ringers: Lord of the Fans, a documentary narrated by Dominic Monaghan.
Acting[]
In 2002, Cliff was the voice of Samwise Gamgee for the video game The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. A decade later for the fan-spoof production Todd of the Rings, he played the role of Gandalf.
