Christopher Luke Wiseman (1893-1987) was the only friend of J.R.R. Tolkien who survived the First World War. He was also a member of the T.C.B.S. with Tolkien. Tolkien's son Christopher Tolkien was named after Wiseman.
In the upcoming biographical film Tolkien, Christopher Wiseman will be portrayed by Tom Glynn-Carney.
