The Buckland Gate in The Lord of the Rings Online
The Buckland Gate,[1] also known as the North-gate,[2] was one of the primary entrances into Buckland, located on the west side of the Brandywine Bridge, and at the northern end of the hedge known as the High Hay.
Frodo Baggins and his companions decided against leaving Buckland by way of this gate in TA 3018, for fear of being caught by the Black Riders, and left through the Old Forest instead.[3] On the Hobbits' return in TA 3019, they found the gate rebuilt as one of great spikes under the direction of Lotho Sackville-Baggins.[4]
