Brigitte Wuest is a well-known sculptor who has worked with Wētā Workshop for The Lord of the Rings, King Kong (2005), and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
From 1998 to 2000, Wuest was a head sculptor for Peter Jackson's films The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The statues in the set of the ruins of Weathertop were sculpted by her.[1] In 2011, she was a workshop technician in the production of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
She has crafted three official Wētā Workshop collectibles, of Bilbo Baggins, of Gimli sitting on a dead Uruk-hai, and of Faramir, as well as many Sideshow Collectibles of Lord of the Rings characters prior to 2006.[2]
