Brian Rosebury is a Tolkien researcher and professor of political philosophy at University of Central Lancashire in Lancashire, England.
He has authored Tolkien: A Critical Assessment (1992), Tolkien: A Cultural Phenomenon (2003), and the article "Revenge and Moral Judgement in Tolkien" (2008) for Tolkien Studies. He also wrote entries for Michael D. C. Drout's major project, J.R.R. Tolkien Encyclopedia: Scholarship and Critical Assessment, released in 2006.
