Bregalad's Song is sung by the Ent Bregalad, who was also called Quickbeam. The song is a lament for the rowan trees that he loved which were cut down by Orcs. He sings Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took to sleep the first night of the Entmoot with this song.

A few lines of this song are given to Treebeard in The Two Towers (film). He is reciting poetry to Merry and Pippin as he carries them to his home, Wellinghall, and they fall asleep in his branches.

O Orofarnë, Lassemista, Carnimírië!
O rowan fair, upon your hair how white the blossom lay!
O rowan mine, I saw you shine upon a summer's day,
Your rind so bright, your leaves so light, your voice so cool and soft:
Upon your head how golden-red the crown you bore aloft!
O rowan dead, upon your head your hair is dry and grey;
Your crown is spilled, your voice is stilled for ever and a day.
O Orofarnë, Lassemista, Carnimírië!
