Bellach is a man of Mordor created by Fantasy Flight Games for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. He is encountered in Trouble in Tharbad and Celebrimbor's Secret adventure packs.
Biography[]
Bellach is a spy from Mordor, who is sent on a misson from the Dark Lord to recover the lost ring mould of Celebrimor's. His exact origins are unknown; either he is a Black Númenórean or possibly a Middle Men who sought wealth and power from the Dark Lord.
Bellach is first mention by the Dwarf Nalir in Tharbad who was to recieved the map to Ost-in-Edhil, but was out payed by the player's heroes. Bellach comes into the inn just a Nalir is about to hand off the map. Bellach furious at the sight whistles for his Orcs to come in and take the map by force. However, the heroes manage to save Nalir and half of the map from Bellachs clutches and escape across Swanfleet. Bellach in the meantime, with his half of the map, makes way to Eregion to start excavating the ruins for Celebrimbor's Secret Chamber. Bellach soon finds that the heroes have survived the horrors of Nîn-in-Eilph and seeks the chamber as well. Bellach orders his Orcs to kill the intruders and continue digging for the Chamber. However, the heroes manage to overcome Bellach's forces and recover the ring mould; killing Bellach in the process.
His armor is a brown cloak and what appears to be a metal chest plate with a sideways Eye of Sauron. He carrys a two-handed sword to kill anyone who gets in his way.
Bellach's biggest threat to the players is his special card abilities that can either increase the threat of enemies and have them engage players easier, or summoning more Orcs with his Scour effect. He gains strength the more players there are in the game (maximum of four).
