Bór was a leader of Easterling Men in the First Age.

Bór came into Lothlann, Beleriand, in the year FA 463. His sons were Borlach, Borlad, and Borthand. Bór was welcomed by Maedhros, who gave him and his followers land north of the March of Maedhros, and south of it. Bór and his sons swore allegiance to Maedhros, and remained faithful, though he was told by Morgoth to betray the banner of Caranthir. He and his sons remained faithful to the Noldor unlike Ulfang's followers. All of them were wiped out during the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.[1][2]

Earlier versions of the legendarium

In earlier drafts given in The Lays of Beleriand, Bor was used as the name of an Elf, and one of his sons was Blodrin, a traitor among the outlaws of Túrin.
