Azain Silverbeard is a Dwarven ally created by Fantasy Flight Games for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. He is a playable ally in Flight of the Stormcaller adventure pack.
Biography[]
Azain's armor is that of dwarven ring mail and padded cloth, which is of higher quality than those made by men or elves. His only weapon shown is a heavy two-handed battle ax which is powerful enough to cleave an Orc in two.
Card usage[]
In the card game, Azain Silverbeard is largely associated with attacking due to his special ability. Azain's willpower of 0 is weak for him to be used for questing regularly, however, he can still be used for questing if the location or quest has the Battle keyword. His attack value of 3 is strong enough for him to be used as an attacker regularly, especially because of his special ability to deal additional damage to another enemy, however, some enemies will take a few turns to die if Azain is attacking alone. Azain's defense of 2 is good enough to use of him as a defender, however, his health of 2 does not last very long against most enemies.
