Arty Papageorgiou is a New Zealand director and film writer who co-wrote the screenplay for the animated film The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim. He co-directed and co-wrote the film The Sorrows (2013) with Phoebe Gittins.
He is also know for writing and directing several music videos for New Zealand music artists such as Lontalius, WHIM, Weird Together, and Pacific Heights.
As an actor, he had some bit parts in the UK TV series The Tribe (1999 - 2003)
